• There will be random vet checks for dogs’ health and vaccinations.
• Snow hooks and dog bags required in Mid-Distance, Sprint; snow hooks in 4-mile & Junior 3-mile.
• All dogs MUST be dropped on straw (available at race location.)
• Teams must consist of same dogs both days.
• Entries in any of the Jr. Races and the 4-mile race will not be allowed to enter any other races except Skijoring.
Attention: This year The Rocky Mountain Siberian Husky Club is offering additional purse money to be given to the fastest Siberian Husky Purebred Team in the in the following races at the Casper Mountain Sled Dog Races February 11,&12 2012.
Requirements for this special purse money are as follows:
1) Each dog is AKC Registered and/or 2) Each dog has an AKC PAL# and/or 3) Each dog is a purebred rescue to be determined by the panel of four designated persons. 4) You must indicate on your entry if your team is a purebred Siberian Husky team competing for this prize. The determination of pure Siberian Husky will be final by the judges on the panel.
Don't miss out on the annual Ice Cream Social at the Parkway Plaza on Friday the 10th at 7:00 PM Registration will also be held at this time. Mushers can pic up their Mushers Packets, Bib Numbers, Starting Order, Maps & Trail Conditions at the registration. We have a purse and prizes too... so please join us this year to raise money for a great organization, the ARC of Natrona County.
Mushers are free and can bring one guest for a discounted rate of only $20.00. Banquet ticket prices are $40 in advance or $45 at the door. Reserve an entire table for $300.00.
The Canines for Chairty Banquet and Auction will be held Saturday February 11th, 2012 at the Parkway Hotel and Convention Center at 5:30 pm. Mushers and their families will have a section at the Banquet and Auction on Saturday night. Seating is limited. To insure seating with other Mushers and family please register online.

Prizes and the $1000 purse money for the races will be handed out Sunday February 12, 2012 after the races. Be sure to turn in your bibs and banners at this time.
Volunteers will receive a T-Shirt and Mushers who have entered before Feb 9th will also
receive a T-Shirt.
Volunteer Handler & Trail Help Meeting will be held February 7th @ 7 PM at the Parkway Plaza Hotel.
This year there will be a special gift to each Musher entered 'online' in the races from the ARC of Natrona County. The Natrona County 4-H Program will provide Musher Packets and will host the Friday night Ice Cream Social.
Rooms at the Parkway Plaza will be available at a discounted rate; Just ask for the rate and tell them you are with the Casper Mountain Sled Dog Races.
